A legacy client decides to relocate to Beacon Hill after raising a family in the Boston Suburbs. Reconnection with its most critical requirement: trust.
And guess what? The Beacon Hill home they decide to purchase? One that FHPB renovated 15 years ago for another legacy client! So we knew the bones were good and were overjoyed to upgrade the finishes and, through our current designer and trade relationships, keep our craft and product at the highest standard. Amazing things can happen. We are full of deep gratitude for the partnerships we hold with all our of clients, projects, and team members – even more so when we can recreate magic time and again.
This mostly cosmetic renovation in a condominium Row House in Beacon Hill centered around creating new bathrooms for the two sisters as well as the always needed added closet space in each bedroom. The home received all new electrical, plumbing fixtures and AVD upgrades as well as an upgraded HVAC system to balance the new spaces comfortably.
A facelift of tiling, countertops, vanities, and backsplashes was desired throughout. In some cases, restoring the original stone gave this home back its original beauty with a luxurious update. The millwork upgrades included kitchen cabinetry, a new pantry wood top, a wood desktop for the office, a walnut countertop for the laundry room and a low open bookcase with wood top for the primary bedroom. New doors gave a fresh entry to the bedrooms and powder rooms. A design change for the bathroom shower enclosure created a modern feel. Retaining as much original flooring was important, so we refurbished and finished throughout most areas and laid anew as needed. The home’s transformation left us breathless as the once known spaces took on a new look, perfectly fitting it’s new family.
