The big property question these days is: what is more important, return on investment (ROI) or return on enjoyment (ROE)?
Clearly they both matter but maybe, lately, one scales a little heavier?
State of mind is a real conundrum for the time being and staying focused on the future is a constant nag at your brain to make sure you are prepared for what may come and who knows what to expect? No, seriously – does anyone know?
I was always taught work hard = play hard…regardless of the outcome you give your all and the reward will follow.
Oddly, recently, “work hard” sometimes equals staying safe and healthy. On those days I don’t need the return on my investment, I need the return on my enjoyment! I need to sit in my version of my sanctuary of a backyard, feet in the pool, watching the hummingbirds feed on my flower garden. That is my reward. Ahh deep breath and tomorrow is a new day to debate all over again.
What is your key to your Return on Enjoyment?
Let me know if there is anything I can do to bring this to you. That too is my ROE.
