In a brownstone tucked into one of Beacon Hill’s most storied streets, a long-untouched kitchen was ready for reinvention. Its narrow footprint and aging infrastructure had made it feel disconnected from the home’s flow—and from the way the family actually lived.
Working within the tight envelope of this 19th-century structure, we undertook a full gut renovation. Floors were leveled, systems updated, and trades carefully navigated crawl spaces to route new HVAC and resolve legacy plumbing issues. Craft and coordination shaped every surface—from a new archway that mirrored historic millwork, to a custom banquette and richly detailed cabinetry by Modern Heritage, including a subtly integrated coffee zone.
We’re grateful to have been welcomed into this home and trusted to help bring the vision to life. The work, like always, was a true collaboration across our team and trade partners, guided by communication, adaptability, and attention to detail.
