Allison Iantosca, owner and president of F.H. Perry Builder in Hopkinton, was one of six professionals inducted into the 2021 New England Design Hall of Fame. The honor recognizes F.H. Perry Builder’s high caliber work and prominence in the New England design field.
As owner and president of F.H. Perry Builder, a company with whom Allison has worked for 21 years, she and her team have earned a reputation as one of the premier remodeling and restoration builders in New England.
“I am humbled and grateful to receive this award for F.H. Perry Builder from the New England Design Hall of Fame,” Allison said, “because it reflects the level of excellence that we strive to bring to our clients each and every day. But I am equally proud of the recognition that our team has received in recent years because it validates the extra efforts that all of us invest in our work,” she added.
This recognition is the latest in a series of honors Allison and her team have received. In 2015, F.H. Perry Builder was selected as one of the top 100 women-led businesses in Massachusetts. This honor came just seven years after Allison took the helm of ownership from her father, Finley, in 2008. And in 2017, Allison was nominated by her peers to be honored by Design New England as a “Distinguished Mentor.”
Professional affiliations have recognized other members of the F.H. Perry Builder team as well. In 2016, the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston recognized Mike Resteghini as their “Builder of the Year” and in 2018 Bill Moretti, Project Manager at F.H. Perry Builder was honored as the “Project Manager of Year.”
In 2016, Sam Peake, Senior Project Manager was selected by Professional Remodeler Magazine’s as a “40 Under 40” award recipients for his outstanding achievement in the remodeling industry, an honor that Angela Prizio, Director of Finance and Operations and Liz Athorn, Account Manager of F.H. Perry Home, also received in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
“Our team of 22 members, regardless of their position in the company, understands and appreciates the emotions and desires involved in remodeling, restoring or building a home. It’s that caring attitude and attention to detail that has created a legacy in the company that dates back to 1977 when my father started F.H. Perry Builder.”
In Allison’s world, the importance of giving back and serving others is something she also inherited from her father. In addition to her professional affiliation with Professional Remodelers Organization New England, Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston, and the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, she is on the Board of the Hopkinton Center for the Arts and the company is a strong corporate supporter of Friend of the Children Boston.
The awards recognize the contribution that Allison and her team are making to the remodeling and restoration industry. For more than 40 years, F.H. Perry Builder has built or remodeled hundreds of homes and, as a result, has touched the lives of thousands of people.
In Allison’s words, “We believe that integrity is non-negotiable. We’re committed to fairness, elegance and craftsmanship. A genuine interest in people and a faith in the value that each individual brings. We’re so proud of the meaningful partnerships we have had over the years, not just with our clients but also with our trade partners and architects. We would not be here without them.
